Hartford registered voters may request an Early/Absentee ballot by mail for the Annual Town/School District Meeting Election by contacting the Clerk's Office at 802-295-2785; OR, e-mailing loneil@hartford-vt.org or swest@hartford-vt.org; OR, online through Vermont My Voter Page http://mvp.vermont.gov Ballots will be available no later than February 10, 2021 and must be returned to the Clerk’s office no later than NOON on Monday, March 1, 2021; OR, your ballot can be hand-carried to the polling place on election day, March 2, 2021. The polls are open from 7:00am-7:00pm at the Hartford High School Gymnasium (37 Highland Avenue, White River Jct., VT 05001)

Residents of the Town of Hartford, may register to vote by going online https://sos.vermont.gov/elections/voters/registration/ or contacting the Town Clerk’s Office for an application.

Voters may visit My Voter Page http://mvp.vermont.gov to register to vote; verify voter registration; update voter information; and/or, request/track an Early/Absentee Ballot.

— Can voters who don’t want to mail in their absentee ballots use a drop box? Hartford will have a Drop Box located at the back entrance of Town Hall facing Lyman Point Park (171 Bridge Street, White River Jct., VT 05001) Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm from February 10th-February 26th; AND, on Monday, March 1st from 8am-NOON. On Election Day, March 2nd, Drop Boxes will be located at the Entrance and Exit of the Polling Location from 7am-6pm. Voters may also hand-carry their ballots into the polling place and give them to the Town Clerk; a member of the Board of Civil Authority (BCA); or, an Assistant Election Worker.

— Is the Clerk’s office open for in-person voting/ballot delivery?Currently, Hartford Town Hall remains closed to the public, therefore voters will NOT be able to vote at the Town Clerk’s Office in-person as they have in the past.
